Mathieu loved to dream. In his dreams, he was the focus of attention. He could be anything—a romantic hero, a painter, a scientist. He loved each idea, gave each thought his full attention and deliberation.

Then he would wake up.

Watching something as manly as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic doesn't make you regress in age. It's like playing Duke Nuke: it makes you instantly grow a beard while flexing your arm while lifting weights and grunting.
